An infinite number of different descriptions could be written about the events of my research process, and in each case, the whole and the knowledge that emerges from it would be different. This version is just one of many possible ways of telling the story, and as such, it is unique and important but not universal or all-encompassing. Even immediately after completing this work, I would tell the same story in a slightly different way.
