Abstract
The medial position of the actor – the actor-as-between-acts as the entry point to my doctoral artistic research. Following the research question of how are performing bodies assembled, it seeks to show how recurrent arrangements and relations of the ‘theatre machine’ perform (on) actorly bodies, while opening towards wider questions of bodily becoming within material-discursive, techno-fleshly assemblages. It also explores the transformative potentials of weird and queered becomings, tending to alien possessions and wavering outlines.
